Journey through the Celtic year with the Sufi mystic Rumi. This spoken word album is an audiobook featuring the full text of the paperback edition. Nova Scotia poet Lewis MacKinnon’s Scottish Gaelic translations of Rumi’s poetry are accompanied by original poems for the Gaelic seasons and holidays of Nova Scotia. Poems are read aloud by the author in both Gaelic and English intertwine with Persian, Irish, and Scottish traditional and spiritual melodies played by Saeed Foroughi (hammered dulcimer, setar, harp, and flute) and Wayne MacIntyre (guitar).
