Glasgow Gael through and through, FIONA ROSS has roots in Argyll and the Isle of Skye. She won the prize for Gaelic Learners singing in the Traditional Style at last year’s Royal National Mòd and the Silver Pendant this year in Stornoway.
Hailing from Argyll, JOY DUNLOP now splits her time between her native landscape and that of the Glasgow, Great City of the Gaels. A singer, step-dancer and educator, Joy is one of Gaeldom’s most sought after artists, having won the An Comunn Gàidhealach Gold Medal in 2010.
Fiona and Joy will be performing a selection of traditional Gaelic songs, picking up on the themes of love and conflict in the poetry of Lus na Tuise.
