Review Bradan Press Books, Get a Discount Coupon
How can you save on your purchase of Bradan Press books? By helping us out with a quick online review! Just a reminder that if you write an online review of one of our books on Amazon or GoodReads and send us a screenshot, we’ll send you a coupon for 20% off a future book purchase in the Bradan Press online shop (USA or Canada). The review can be as short (or as long!) as you like. Abair bargan! / What a deal!
Did you know that you can write a book review on Amazon even if you didn’t buy the book there? You just need to have an Amazon account and to have spent $50 there in the past 12 months. Here are the details.
We understand that some folks try to avoid Amazon, but unfortunately it’s a necessary evil for a small indie Canadian publisher, especially a Gaelic publisher. However, an Amazon book listing needs at least 10 reviews before Amazon will start suggesting it to users, which helps more readers discover it. After readers discover our books on Amazon though, they may actually decide to order more of our books directly from us or a real bookstore. But that can’t happen if they never hear about our books at all! It’s actually incredibly time-consuming and expensive to spread the word about our indie books. Can you help us out?
If you’re not eligible to write an Amazon review, or prefer not to, please consider writing a book review at Goodreads instead! Here are instructions.
Either way, just send us a screenshot of your review to get a 20% discount coupon good for a book order at the Bradan Press online shop! You can send a screenshot through our Facebook page messages, or drop us a quick line through our Contact page to get the email address where you can send your review. What you say in the book review is entirely up to you and does not affect our offer.

Christmas at the Forum 2023 – Vending Fun
We had a wonderful weekend at Christmas at the Forum in Halifax, November 3–5. It’s the earliest holiday craft fair in Nova Scotia and it always feels a little jarring to bust out the Christmas decorations before Remembrance Day, but please remember that we have to vend at holiday fairs like this one to help keep Bradan Press going.
We always enjoy seeing you in person! It’s wonderful to talk to teachers excited to find our Gaelic resources, customers who bought our books last year and loved them, and the many people whose parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents were Gaelic speakers. If you weren’t able to make it this past weekend to see us and our booth, here’s a quick livestream booth tour that we did on Facebook. Here are some photos of our newly redesigned and decorated booth, along with a giant Bodach na Nollaig (Santa Claus)!
